Temptation

All of us have that one or two things in life that no matter how hard we try, it is a temptation that is hard to resist. I have found that to be true of cats as well.  No matter how many times I yell, Rascal just has to get on the table or counter to get at the potato chips. We usually keep them in the cupboard or on top of the refrigerator, so they are not a temptation, but they didn't get put away last night. This was the result!

Blogging frenzy!

Well, since I haven't blogged for over a month, I decided it was time to update everyone on a few things we have done. Enjoy the next few posts!!

Volleyball

Katelyn is doing fall volleyball this year. Her team had a tournament yesterday and they took 2nd place.

Tasha is also doing volleyball again this year. I am going to try to get some pictures the next couple games.

PETS

Just a few fun pictures of the pets.

Home and Garden

We have spent some time this summer sprucing up the house and doing needed repairs. After painting the door and shutters, we had a "B" sign made for the West side of the house. Then this last weekend we had a crew over to shingle the roof.

My garden was suppose to have tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, and other veggies.  I wasn't very successful on those veggies, but my cucumbers and my pumpkins went crazy. I have at least 20 large pumpkins out of 1 plant and over 100 mini pumpkins out of another. I canned many cucumbers into bread & butter pickles and dill pickles. Thank goodness my mother-in-law's garden grew tomatoes and lots of them.

Vet school

Todd and I took a day to go down to Ames and tour the new addition to the Vet School.

1st day of school

Arnold's Park

The week before school started, Marni and I took the kids to Arnold's Park for a day of fun. Here are some of my favorite pictures.
