Katelyn's 1st broken bone.

Katelyn was talking at school in science last week how she had never had a broken bone. Some of the kids told her she was lucky. I think she either jinxed herself or her luck ran out. Sunday while we were riding horses, the horse she was riding decided to run to some other horses in the pasture at Grandpa's. She tried to get it to stop and it started bucking. She was bucked off and broke her arm. We went to Sac to the emergency room and they took ex-rays. They then sent us to Carroll to see an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Nelson. They put her under anesthetic and set it, but it didn't want to stay in place. So Wednesday we will go to Carroll for surgery. She is tough and doing fine. It is sore, but she seems to be getting along ok.
