Faces of Volleyball
This weekend we went to Bellevue down by Omaha to a volleyball tournament for Tasha. Mom and Dad Stewart, Janine and Sarah came over to the school to watch Tasha and her team play. Sarah brought her camera along and took some great pictures. Tasha and I were looking through them and noticed she (and others) had MANY different expressions through out the tournament. We couldn't help but add some captions.
Here are some other pictures from the day as well. The girls did well today and took home 2nd place.
Thanks Janine and Pat for letting Tasha, me, Marni and Callie stay at your place and to Sarah and Kurt for letting Mom and Dad stay there. Thanks also for the great supper last night and for the cinnamon rolls and coffee this morning. It was great!!
"Let me at um!!"
"I can't believe she just did that"
The Thinker!
The Spacer
"Is it gonna make it?"
"Really??????? Shut up"
"Let's go"
"Did you get that?"
"Get it, Get it, Get it!!!"
"Here it comes"
"I'm Ready"
"Kylie?? Do you have it?"
"I am so mad" "You? I can't even look at you guys"

Sickness
WOW.....sickness has hit our community, schools, and house hard!! We have been fighting influenza, strep, stomach flu, and everything in between in the community and schools for the last month. Two weeks ago Katelyn had influenza and this week both Tasha and Katie were home with either influenza or strep. All tests came back negative, but the doctor said he was sure that they had one or the other. Hope your family is staying healthy!
Parade of Bands
Last Monday night, Natasha was involved in the Parade of Bands concert in Lake View. This concert includes 5th - HS bands, both the large group and the jazz bands. Tasha's 7th/8th jazz band performed first. They did a great job. Tasha even had a solo. Callie (Tasha's best friend) played both the piano and the tenor sax.

After the 5th and 6th grades, then the 7th/8th performed. I thought that the last song they did (a western themed song) was the best. Due to sickness, they were short a few players. One of them that was sick was a drummer. Because of that, Callie was recruited to play the bass drum for one song. She learned the part that morning and did a great job!!!
