Wisconsin Trip

This last weekend we went to Wisconsin to see our good friends Dan and Mary Buckhaus and their girls, Ellie and Sarah. We went turkey hunting, did some shopping and on the way home stopped at the Lock and Dam in Dubuque. Tasha got her first turkey on Thursday night. It is the largest anyone has ever taken there.

Awesome Mother's Day Weekend!!!!

What a wonderful weekend this has been. Todd and I went to Onawa and went turkey hunting. We both got a turkey on Saturday. It was a beautiful day and we had 2 very incredible hunts! Todd got a huge tom with a 9inch beard and a gorgeous fan. I got a nice looking jake with a 4-5 inch beard at 5 yards! We came home this morning, and I was surprised with 2 wonderful gifts from my beautiful girls. I love being a mom!!!

PIE!!!!!

Thank you to Mom and Dad Stewart for the wonderful rhubarb that they sent home with us last week. Over the weekend I made a pie and then I made another one tonight. It is the best when used right away, and it was exceptionally good. And my crust was very flaky and tasting if I do say so myself.

Guner and Sassy

Thought I would post a couple of pictures of the babies. They grow up way to fast, though we don't think Sassy is growing much at all. She is going to be a small one.
