Surgery Again

On Thursday, June 18, I went back to Dr. Miller because I was having severe abdominal pain. He hospitalized me, and after 2 days of tests and waiting, we went back to surgery. He found that two sections of my small intestine had adhered to my abdomin. I had a nasal gastric tube, a catheter and a central IV line put in. They fed me liquid nutrition through the central line. Yesterday, they finally let me come home after I had the tubes all removed on Wednesday and had started eating clear liquids and then soft foods the last couple of days. I am so thankful for the great care I got at the hospital, but I am even more thankful for being home!
