Tomorrow, March 18, is Todd's 40th Birthday. We are planning a big birthday party on Saturday to celebrate. Todd has been depressed and upset about turning 40 for the last couple of weeks. However, yesterday he decided that maybe 40 wasn't so bad. Why the sudden change in attitude? Well, he got an early birthday gift.
It is a Can-Am Outlander Max XT. It is automatic drive, 4 wheel drive, has hand guards and bumpers, has a winch, has two seats for riding double, and comes with a utility box that can be put on in place of the second seat.
We decided to take it for a spin this evening after work. Of course, I insisted that we get pictures before it was all dirty and that I got to have the first ride. The girls both think it is neat, and I am sure that we will get a lot of use out of it.
He was of course really surprised that I let him get a 4wheeler for his birthday. I told him he deserved something nice on his 40th. I did reminded him that I turn 40 in a couple years. I like all kinds of things too and will have to decide what I want now for my 40th. :)
